Counted on 16 September 2026 in our database, by place of performance, current version of each notice only. A notice that names two countries counts in both.
In Switzerland, the Confederation and all cantons publish their procurement on simap.ch, run by the simap.ch association. The platform carries tenders, design contests, corrections, cancellations and awards, both within the scope of international agreements and below it; a new platform replaced the old one in July 2024. Notices appear in German, French or Italian, often in more than one of these languages. Only part of the Swiss market reaches TED: the procedures that fall under the WTO agreement.
TenderCatcher reads simap.ch through its API, not the website — the terms of use permit commercial reuse of API data, but reproducing platform content outside the API requires written consent. For each publication we take the title, description, CPV code and submission deadline, and whether the contract falls within the scope of international agreements; that information comes from the data rather than being inferred from a contract value. Where simap already provides a title in several languages, we keep those versions and mark them as translations by simap. Tender documents stay on simap.ch, and as the terms require, every notice carries the note that only the data published on simap.ch is authoritative.
A search campaign reports new matches by email, with title and short description translated into your language; the original remains the binding version.
