In the Netherlands, TenderNed has been the mandatory platform for all notices from Dutch contracting authorities since 2013 — European procedures as well as national ones below the EU thresholds. Authorities publish either directly or through submission platforms such as Mercell (formerly Negometrix) or CTM, which pass their notices on to TenderNed. The platform carries market consultations, prior information notices, contract notices, corrections, awards, early terminations and modifications, in Dutch and, for European procedures, sometimes in English.

TenderCatcher reads TenderNed’s open publication service, whose data is published under CC0. Every notice carries a flag for European procedures, so national procedures can be told apart cleanly from those that also appear on TED. Deadline, contracting authority and procedure type come from the same data. TenderNed’s open interface carries no CPV codes, so Dutch notices are found through full-text and semantic search rather than a CPV filter.

Titles and short descriptions are translated, so a search campaign can report Dutch tenders to you by email in your language. For the full text and the tender documents, every match links to the notice on TenderNed.

The EU thresholds for 2026 and 2027

Above EUR 140,000 for supplies and services of central government, EUR 216,000 for those of other public buyers and EUR 5,404,000 for works, a notice has to appear on TED (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2152). Below those values, national rules decide where — and that is where most contracts are.
