Counted on 16 September 2026 in our database, by place of performance, current version of each notice only. A notice that names two countries counts in both.

France publishes in two layers. The official bulletin BOAMP, run by DILA, is mandatory — alternatively a legal announcements journal — for notices from a national value threshold upwards, and for all EU procedures alongside the Official Journal of the EU; smaller contracts under the adapted procedure (MAPA) may appear there voluntarily. Underneath, every buyer must run a buyer profile (profil d’acheteur): the state uses PLACE, regions use platforms such as Mégalis Bretagne or Maximilien, and commercial providers run many more. There is no national collection of the notices on these profiles; only awarded contracts are consolidated centrally, in the DECP.

TenderCatcher reads BOAMP through its open API, licensed under the Licence Ouverte 2.0: calls for tenders, corrections, awards and cancellations, in the eForms format of EU procedures as well as in the national MAPA and FNS schemas, so CPV codes come through for all of them. Small MAPA contracts that a buyer publishes only on its own buyer profile are available there.

Titles and short descriptions are translated, so French tenders can be searched in your language and followed through a search campaign.

The EU thresholds for 2026 and 2027

Above EUR 140,000 for supplies and services of central government, EUR 216,000 for those of other public buyers and EUR 5,404,000 for works, a notice has to appear on TED (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2152). Below those values, national rules decide where — and that is where most contracts are.
