The United Kingdom left TED at the start of 2021. Since the Procurement Act 2023 took effect on 24 February 2025, Find a Tender — now the Central Digital Platform — has been the mandatory platform for all new procedures across the country, above and below the thresholds. The one exception is below-threshold procurement in Scotland, which stays on Public Contracts Scotland. Contracts Finder continues only for procedures begun under the old Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Regional portals such as Sell2Wales and eTendersNI, as well as commercial e-sourcing systems, act as eSenders that pass their notices on to Find a Tender.
TenderCatcher reads all three platforms through their open OCDS interfaces, published under the Open Government Licence v3: Find a Tender for new procedures, Contracts Finder for procedures still running under the old rules, and Public Contracts Scotland for Scottish below-threshold contracts. Because the United Kingdom no longer publishes on TED, these sources are not a duplicate of TED but its replacement. We do not read the commercial e-sourcing systems — they require a login, and their notices reach Find a Tender anyway.
Titles and short descriptions are translated, so British tenders can be searched in your language and followed through a search campaign.
