Germany has no single tender portal, but it does have a central data hub. Every EU-wide notice from Germany passes through the Datenservice Öffentlicher Einkauf, run by the Procurement Office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, on its way to TED. Below the EU thresholds the picture is fragmented: sixteen federal states run their own portals, alongside commercial platforms such as DTVP and publishers’ tender services. Procurement platforms can also deliver below-threshold notices to the Datenservice, and many do — these national procedures under VOB/A, VOL/A and UVgO never appear on TED.
TenderCatcher reads the Datenservice’s daily open-data export, published under CC0, and so receives the above-threshold notices as well as the national ones that reach it. Notices that a contracting authority publishes only on a state portal or a commercial platform are published there.
Titles and short descriptions are translated, so German tenders can be searched in your language and followed through a search campaign.

The EU thresholds for 2026 and 2027
Above EUR 140,000 for supplies and services of central government, EUR 216,000 for those of other public buyers and EUR 5,404,000 for works, a notice has to appear on TED (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2152). Below those values, national rules decide where — and that is where most contracts are.
