Counted on 16 September 2026 in our database, by place of performance, current version of each notice only. A notice that names two countries counts in both.
Sweden has no national tender portal. Instead, contracting authorities must advertise their procurements in a registered advertisement database (annonsdatabas); the register is kept by the Swedish Competition Authority, Konkurrensverket. The notice texts therefore sit with commercial operators such as Mercell with TendSign and Opic, e-Avrop or Kommers. Procurements under the EU directives also appear on TED, while the larger, national part appears only in the advertisement databases. The National Agency for Public Procurement, Upphandlingsmyndigheten, publishes statistics as open data, but not the notices themselves.

The EU thresholds for 2026 and 2027
Above EUR 140,000 for supplies and services of central government, EUR 216,000 for those of other public buyers and EUR 5,404,000 for works, a notice has to appear on TED (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2152). Below those values, national rules decide where — and that is where most contracts are.
