In Denmark, public contracts are announced on udbud.dk, the national portal of the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (KFST). It carries national notices below the EU thresholds and mirrors the Danish notices published on TED, including their versions and corrections. Tender submission runs through separate systems such as Mercell’s ETHICS, whose tenders are announced via TED or udbud.dk. Notices are published in Danish.

TenderCatcher reads udbud.dk directly, every publication day. The authority permits this expressly: its own terms of use allow private companies whose business is facilitating tenders to collect the data for commercial purposes, free of charge, provided the source is credited. That is why Danish procedures below the EU thresholds reach you as well — three quarters of all Danish procedures are below them, and those never appear on TED.

What the Danish data carries, and what it does not: every notice has a title, a description and a CPV code, so campaigns match on subject matter. Deadlines are published per lot, and TenderCatcher takes the earliest one. There is no regional code, so a Danish notice is placed at country level — a campaign narrowed to one region will not find it. Where the contracting authority has written an English version itself, you get it at no cost.

A search campaign reports new Danish tenders by email — together with your other markets, in one message.

The EU thresholds for 2026 and 2027

Above EUR 140,000 for supplies and services of central government, EUR 216,000 for those of other public buyers and EUR 5,404,000 for works, a notice has to appear on TED (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2152). Below those values, national rules decide where — and that is where most contracts are.
